Due to low temperature, no crops can survive in the fourmonths (October to January) covered by this bulletin. Considering the last fourmonths, rainfall and biomass index are above the recent five-year average. As aresult, conditions will be favorable for the sowing of spring crops. However, temperaturewas higher than average and rainfall below average in January in most areas inInner Mongolia, which may have some influence on spring crops by prematurelydepleting soil moisture reserves.
