Agro-climatic conditionswere favorable during the period from January to April, which covers the sowingperiod of crops in northeast China. CropWatch agroclimatic indicators showmarkedly above average rainfall (RAIN is over 70 percent above average in threeprovinces), average radiation, and generally average temperature. The favorableagro-climatic conditions resulted in 70 percent above average biomass potentialin the region. According to a field visit to the plain by CropWatch, the crophas just been sowed. So far, crop condition is favorable.
