Russia experienced average climate conditions from July to October. The spring wheat and maize harvest begins from August and the winter wheat planting starts from August. Cropped arable land increased 1% compared with the last five years’ average. Russia experienced slightly dry and cold condition in these four months. Precipitation below the recent average (-5%) and the temperature was significantly lower than average (-0.8 °C.) The BIOMSS index rose 1% over the last five-year average.
