In this reporting period, cultivation included cereal crops, potatoes, and vegetables. According to CropWatch's agro-climatic indicators, rainfall was 54% below and temperatures were 1.3°C above the 15-year average (15YA). The rainfall pattern highlighted a scarcity from October to November, in contrast to mid-December to mid-January, when it surpassed the 15YA. Temperature trends hovered around the 15YA, with notable increases in October and January. Solar radiation was above the 15YA by 10%, while biomass levels fell below by 38%. Nationally, the NDVI profile from October to January was below the 5YA. Spatial analysis of NDVI showed all cultivated areas were lower than the 5YA, with about 32.4% significantly affected. The countrywide VCIx value was 0.45, and the Crop Arable Land Fraction (CALF) was 27% less than the 5YA, indicating poor crop conditions. Additionally, a lower Crop Production Index (CPI) of 0.74 suggests an unfavorable situation for crop production due to the precipitation deficit.
