Wheat:

Spring wheat in main producing area is at tillering stage and winter wheat is at grain-filling stage (North China) to maturity stage (southwest of China). Wheat condition is favorable in North China, Northwest China, and Northeast China. However, due to the insufficient precipitation in Yunnan and Guizhou, wheat condition is below average and will probably produce lower yield.

Rice:

In China, single rice in Northeast China is at seedling stage, while early rice in southeast China is mostly at transplanting stage. However, the continuous rainfall in Guangdong and Guangxi hampered early rice development. 

Maize:

Favorable agro-climatic conditions are beneficial for summer maize which will be sown in early June.Spring maize is at average condition in general.

Soybean:

In Northeast China, agro-environmental conditions are favorable for the sowing and seedling of soybean.
