China winter wheat: winter wheat was at tillering stage.During the monitoring period, favorable temperature and rainfall occurred in Huanghuaihai, Loess region, southern Inner Mongolia and northern Lower Yangtze.Winter wheat condition was at same level of that in 2015 in major producing regions. During November 20-24th, cold wave widely occurred in central and eastern China but with only minor impacts on wheat growth since the temperature recovered to normal condition soon after 24th November.At the same time, heavy snowfall appeared in part of North China including Henan, Shaanxi, Beijing, etc. which is beneficial for overwintering of winter wheat.

China rapeseed: Rapeseed was at transplanting stage. Overall,rapeseed situation in southwest China was below the last year’s level due to continuously rainy weather and concurrently low radiation.

Rice, maize and soybean in China and neighboring areas were out of growing season.
